🔧 April 2026 fixes & improvements

We worked on a series of fixes over the last several weeks across AI Autofill, reports, Gmail workflows, and integrations. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback or reported an issue! Streak keeps getting better because of you.

🤖 AI Autofill

AI Autofill now enters the correct date in date fields

When AI Autofill pulled a date from box content like notes, it could enter a date that was one day early. Dates are now entered accurately according to the date shown in the box.

Autofill progress indicator now shows while autofill is running

The in-progress state wasn't always visible when autofill was running. The indicator now pulses and shows an "Autofill in progress" tooltip to show you when Streak AI is working behind the scenes.

📊 Reports & dashboards

Dashboard reports now link directly to saved views

Reports based on saved views didn't give you a direct way to open the underlying filter view and review the matching boxes. You can now jump straight from the report to that saved view.

Interactions by Boxes and Interaction Summary reports now load correctly

These reports were briefly showing a 500 error and "error fetching interaction data from server" when opened. They now load as expected.

✨ Magic columns

Sent Email Count magic column now updates correctly

The Sent Email Count magic column — which pulls sent email activity from Gmail — wasn't updating on some boxes. This is now fixed.

📧 Gmail workflows

Command K search now keeps working after Gmail sits idle

If a Gmail tab sat unused for a while, Command palette shortcuts could stop returning results until you refreshed. It now continues working as expected after the tab has been idle.

Command palette now works correctly in Safari

If you used the command palette in Safari, it could stop expanding after you typed a search and become unusable. It now stays usable as you search.

Natural language task due dates now point to upcoming dates

When you type a task due date like "Wednesday at 10am" or "March 31," Streak now uses the upcoming date instead of creating a task due date in the past.

First-time emailing now shows the correct date in the thread summary

When viewing the duplicate outreach detection popup, the thread summary could show an invalid date. It now shows the correct date.

📝 Notes & editor

Call logs and meeting notes now keep up while you type

Typing in the call log and meeting note editor was noticeably laggy in some boxes. It now feels smooth again while taking notes.

Meeting notes and call logs now open at the same size as Gmail compose

Meeting notes and call logs were opening smaller than the Gmail compose window. They now open at the same size.

🔗 Integrations

Zapier actions now complete more reliably

People using Zapier with Streak — especially for workflows like finding or editing boxes — were running into intermittent 520/524 timeout errors. Those actions now complete reliably.

LinkedIn Add to Streak button now shows up again

Some people weren't seeing the Add to Streak button on LinkedIn, which meant they couldn't add leads directly to Streak from LinkedIn. It now appears again as expected.
